    Wow, Scriabin was a little crazy in my point of view after reading this book. Just the fact that he believed with his "Mysterium" work he could bring about the end of the world and the unification and transfiguration of every single human by himself! umm, yeah, basically he thought he was God/5. This informative and entertaining book on the life and music of Scriabin generally represents good value for money. The author is keen to set the historical context sometimes at the expense of learning about Scriabin's complex character (there is a rather long introduction on the history and development of Russian music, which most readers interested in this type of book are probably already /5(10).
